The Aluminum EL Series from Electra Gear is built for environments where weight, corrosion resistance, and quick replacement matter as much as raw torque. The single-piece aluminum housing eliminates the split-line leak paths that plague cast-iron designs, while the strength-to-weight ratio of high-pressure-cast aluminum keeps the unit light enough for ceiling- and wall-mounted installations.

Inside, the EL Series carries a generous oil capacity for thermal headroom under continuous duty, premium seals and bearings sized for long service intervals, and an oversized output shaft that tolerates the side and shock loads typical of conveyor and packaging applications. Every unit is leak- and run-tested at the factory before it ships.
