About Northwest Power Products

Northwest Power Products is a family-owned distributor and service shop based in Tacoma, Washington. For more than four decades we have stocked, repaired, and rebuilt industrial gear reducers, gearboxes, and gear motors for plants, mills, and OEMs across the Pacific Northwest.

Our reputation is built on response time. When a line is down, the difference between a same-day rebuild and a two-week lead time is the difference between a manageable hiccup and a crisis. We answer the phone around the clock, and our warehouse holds enough stock that most quotes ship the same day they are placed.

In addition to distribution we operate a full service shop with industrial gear-cutting capability. That lets us bring obsolete and discontinued units back to life — bevel, helical, spur, and worm gears cut to spec — even when the original manufacturer is long gone.

We work with food and beverage processors, marine operators, hydropower stations, wind farms, paper and pulp mills, and OEMs building heavy machinery. Whatever turns, we can repair, rebuild, or replace it.
